Mr. Yates committed to 4 years of country service on active duty in the US Army, where he served as a Command, Control, Computer, Communications, and Intelligence (C4I) operator/maintainer from 1995-1999. He honorably discharged from his service commitment in 1999, and thereafter, accepted his first post military career position with the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) located at Fort Hood, TX, as a tester within the Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) Force 21 architecture supporting capability deployments to the 1st Calvary and 4th Infantry digitized brigades. A Computer Science major, Mr. Yates now has over 21+ years of industry experience within the Software Development, Hardware Integration, System Interoperability, and Test disciplines that include various Engineering and Project Management roles held, while supporting Missile Defense and Aviation customers. He continues to serve his country today, but he also serves his community with several ongoing voluntary service commitments that include the Early Works Children Museum and the North Alabama Longhouse Native Sons and Daughters located in Huntsville, AL.
